You’re already on the right track. Let’s turn your curiosity into confidence.

You’ve seen the headlines about medicinal mushrooms.

You’ve maybe even bought a powder or two… stirred it into coffee… wondered if it was actually doing anything. You’re not quite sure what’s hype and what’s genuinely helpful.

Here’s the thing.

It’s not that mushrooms are complicated.
It’s that most of what’s out there skips the part that really matters.

No one shows you how to find them in the wild.
How to confidently identify them.
How to harvest them respectfully.
How to prepare them properly so you’re not just drinking expensive brown water.

And no one talks about the deeper side of fungi. The intelligence of the forest floor. The quiet, connective power of the mycelial web.

Find the answers at 'Herbs & Remedies: A Medicinal Mushroom Workshop'

In this immersive, hands-on workshop hosted by Herbalists, Rose and Wendy, held in the Scottish countryside, you will step into the world of medicinal mushrooms.

What we'll cover:

  • Walking the land to find common medicinal mushrooms in their natural habitat, learning how to identify them confidently and safely.
  • Clear guidance on what to harvest, what to leave, and how to forage in a way that respects the ecosystem and the future of the species.
  • Examine fresh and dried examples of the medicinal mushrooms and discover their health benefits
  • Practical demonstrations of the most effective extraction methods that cut through media hype and misinformation so you can separate evidence-based use from marketing noise.
  • Tasting real food preparations made with medicinal mushrooms so you understand how they can be both nourishment and medicine.
  • A guided mushroom tea ceremony to connect with the consciousness of fungi and their role in the wider web of life.
  • A reflective drawing and observation practice to deepen your awareness and help you truly see what you are working with.
  • Space for questions, conversation, and honest discussion about how to use these mushrooms confidently for your own health.

And of course, time outdoors with like-minded people, learning, laughing, and building real skills you can take home and use immediately.

Here's what our workshop attendees have to say!

Jo G.

...Rose had an extensive knowledge of the subject, and her enthusiasm was infectious. As well as going through the theory, the workshops were hands-on, so we felt confident to do this ourselves. Enjoyable, informative and inspiring!

Wendy, I can’t thank you enough for your work on this presentation for us! I will be doing a health refresh this spring and shake off some of the bad habits I got into during the pandemic...I’m constantly scrambling to gather good, current information. The way you organized the discussion and your work is a huge help for me.

"No dry, boring theory and no confusing mushroom jargon. Just real, hands-on learning, clear explanations that make sense, and the kind of practical confidence that means you’ll actually use what you learn.

You’ll leave the workshop with:

✔️ Clear identification skills for jelly ear, birch polypore, and turkey tail, so you can confidently find them again in the wild.

✔️ Practical knowledge on how to harvest respectfully and sustainably without damaging the ecosystem.

✔️ Straightforward, no-nonsense guidance on how to prepare mushrooms as both food and medicine at home.
